I had a pretty ordinary life living a traditional Midwest lifestyle. I was raised by two loving parents in Chicago, had an amazing career as a therapist, got married in my early twenties, bought a fantastic starter red-brick bungalow home with a white picket fence and had two beautiful children.

And then we moved to California.

My life at that point completely changed. I could joke that I followed what all of the other Californians do and got divorced, but obviously there were other issues that led us down the path I never thought I’d go down. But then again, who ever thinks that? So there I was, a single mom trying to rediscover herself separate from the unit I once knew, and was catapulted into this thing called “dating.” I had a closet full of oversized black “mommy” tops, a bunch of nursing bras and neutral colored Birkenstock sandals. All of my clothes were too big, too black and too boring. It wasn”t sexy. But more importantly, I wasn’t feeling attractive and I didn’t know how to give signals that I was even interested in men. After losing a lot of “baby fat” weight, I got a new colorful wardrobe with better fitting clothes and started feeling better about myself. As my confidence grew, I started attracting more people (men included) and opportunities. The greatest of which was the opportunity to help others with these same painful issues and encourage their own personal transformation. This is where my journey began and is why I’m so passionate about doing what I do.

My name is Kimberly Seltzer and I am an image expert, dating coach and matchmaker. I draw upon my experience as a therapist by using a true inside out approach to my practice. Although it sounds like a mouthful, everything I do really helps people with one overall goal and that is to feel good about you. Whether it’s putting on a pair of heels to gain a sexy swagger, smiling at a man in a coffee shop to invite conversation or going out on a date to get feedback on your first impressions, it’s all about gaining confidence. Confidence is the number one element both men and women find attractive in one another. And when you feel confident, that is when you attract love and opportunity in your life.

As for my professional experience, I joined David Wygant, the top LA Dating Coach as his only female coach and learned the art of running dating bootcamps for men. My journey continued after getting asked to consult with several matchmaking companies and businesses for their client’s image and presentation. Most recently, I ran the VIP division at one of the largest nationwide matchmaking companies, Elite Matchmaking in Beverly Hills, CA where I infused image consulting and dating coaching as part of this unique matchmaking process.

Throughout the years, I began speaking and giving seminars such as being the keynote speaker for the clothing line KikaPaprika, for National Matchmaking Conferences, marketing seminars such as Success Magnet and iDate, an international dating conference. I continue to enjoy opportunities on the radio and media. Media spots have included an appearance with Andy Richter and Paul Tompkins in eBay’s Winner’s Guide to Winning, a guest on Huffington Post Live with Tim Matheson, a main expert on the new cable reality show The Romance and co-hosting a new radio with Sideshow Network, Full Disclosure with Art of Charm’s Jordan Harbinger. Today I help clients all over the world to unveil their most beautiful self. Whether it’s updating your image or transforming your dating life, my philosophy is simple… work from the inside-out to achieve your goals and boost your self-confidence. I have developed my own personalized wing gal approach with clients doing in-field work with men and women working on body language, first impressions, image and messaging and how it impacts attraction. My process is light-hearted, fun and empathic aimed at improving dating experiences and relationships. The services I provide include private phone/Skype sessions, email coaching and makeover packages.
